These policies cover the basics of customer-supplied content, personalized orders, material variation and privacy. Order-specific terms are confirmed with your quote where needed.
With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits, traffic sources, product views, quote clicks and successfully sent enquiries. Analytics may be processed outside Canada. We do not send names, email addresses, photographs, artwork or form contents to these services. You can reject optional tracking or change your choice using Privacy choices.
An enquiry is not a purchase and does not reserve stock. Before you accept an order or make a payment, your written quote provides our seller and business-address details, contact information, product, personalization, quantity, itemized CAD price, applicable taxes and other charges, delivery arrangements, timing, cancellation and payment terms. You can review and correct details before accepting. You can save or print the complete quote. Your accepted agreement is confirmed in a retainable written copy within the applicable statutory period, generally 15 days. Keep your quote and confirmation for your records.
Custom design generally requires a 50% deposit, includes two proof revisions, and proceeds after approval. The remaining balance is due before delivery, as confirmed in your quote.
Our cancellation, return and approval policies do not limit any rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer law. Material variations do not excuse a defective product or an item that differs materially from the agreed order.
Contact Symes Custom Works — Privacy Lead at symescustomworks@gmail.com to ask about access, corrections, file retention or deletion. Order enquiries are used to respond to your request; they do not subscribe you to promotional emails. Permission to share a finished-product photo is separate from permission to send marketing messages.
Our live enquiry forms use Formspree to receive requests and send notifications to our business Gmail account. Formspree states that it uses infrastructure in the United States and may process information in other countries where it operates. This means enquiry information may be processed outside Canada. Email our Privacy Lead at symescustomworks@gmail.com to request our policies and practices concerning overseas service providers or ask questions about them. Please do not send payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information. Photo files are requested separately after the initial enquiry.

Local delivery is available in Beaumont, Alberta by arrangement. Delivery availability, cost and timing are confirmed with your quote.
Shipping within Canada may be available depending on the product, destination, size and weight. Shipping availability and cost are confirmed before payment. Canada-wide shipping is not guaranteed. International shipping is not currently offered.
Custom or personalized orders may be cancelled before production begins. Once personalized production has started, change-of-mind cancellation may no longer be possible. This does not restrict any statutory cancellation, refund or defect remedies.
Because personalized products are made specifically for the customer, change-of-mind returns are not accepted. If an item arrives damaged, defective or materially different from the approved order, contact Symes Custom Works so the issue can be reviewed and resolved.
Customers are responsible for reviewing names, spelling, dates, photos and other supplied details before approving a proof when a proof is provided.
Small variations in colour, grain, engraving, printing, positioning and handmade finishing are normal and are not considered defects.
When you submit a photograph, artwork, logo, name or other content, you confirm that you have the right or appropriate permission to provide it for your order. This includes the photographer’s copyright permission and appropriate consent for identifiable people. For children, provide parent or guardian permission. We may decline protected characters, logos or artwork without suitable authorization. Submitting content does not automatically give Symes Custom Works permission to share it publicly.
Order forms include a separate choice about whether we may photograph or share the finished product on our website, galleries, social media, portfolio materials, advertisements or other business marketing. No is a valid choice and is never required to purchase. Gift dates and private orders are honoured.
Photos, names, artwork and personalization details are collected to quote, create, deliver and support your order. We use Google Drive for customer photographs, artwork and production files, and business Gmail for correspondence. Enquiry submissions are also stored in Formspree’s enabled submission archive. Copies may remain in email attachments and downloaded production files. Google Drive is not the only storage location.
Symes Custom Works is responsible for manual retention and deletion reviews; files are not deleted automatically. Production files are distinct from invoices and other business records that may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes. You may ask about retention or request deletion by emailing symescustomworks@gmail.com. Requests require a review of the relevant copies and any continuing legal or business need; immediate removal from every backup cannot be promised.
Permission for future promotional use can be withdrawn separately. Withdrawal cannot necessarily remove material already printed, distributed, reposted by others or otherwise not reasonably recallable. We do not sell customer information.
Product images include photographs and realistic representative designs, which may not depict completed customer orders. Your quote and any artwork proof confirm your chosen materials, personalization and finish. Customer work is shared only with permission.
Timing depends on product availability, quantity, artwork and production requirements. If you have a needed-by date, include it in your request so feasibility can be confirmed before the order is accepted.
